February Meeting
Hello North Idaho Engineering Community! For our next ISPE continuing education event, we will be touring the new Enaville Microfiltration Water Treatment Plant on Friday February 17th from noon to 1:00 pm. The plant was awarded the "2011 Pacific Northwest AWWA: Excellence in Engineering Awards - Best Medium Size Water Works Project". Michael Conn, PE of J-U-B Engineers, Inc. will be giving us a project overview from an engineering standpoint and Chad Nelson, the Plant Manager and Assistant District Manager, will lead the tour of this impressive facility. We are offering 1 PDH for attending the tour. As an opportunity to network with other engineers and perhaps save some gas money, we will be meeting at the Shopko parking lot (217 West Ironwood Drive, Coeur d'Alene, ID) at 11:00 am to coordinate rides and carpool. We will return by 2:00 pm. If you are able to drive, please let me know how many seats are available. For those who will meet us at the Enaville WTP, the facility address is: 259 Bear Creek Road, Enaville, ID 83839. The tour will commence at noon. This event is FREE to ISPE members and only $5 for non-members (fees collected go toward ISPE's general overhead and great events like MATHCOUNTS). Lunch is not provided.
