9:00 AM to 10:15 AM "Standard of Care for Professional Engineers in Idaho" This will include a brief presentation on "Standard of Care" definitions/considerations; a roundtable discussion about the status of "Standard of Care" with engineers from around the state who review work of other Idaho engineers; the perspective from the Board of Engineers; an open discussion with the audience, Board and Panel concerning the status of the Standard of Care and any Next Steps by ISPE
10:15 AM to 10:30 AM Morning Break

11:30 AM to 2:30 PM Lunch – ISPE General Membership Meeting **ISPE members are welcome to attend the Membership Meeting only. There is no cost if you do not wish to have lunch.**
2:30 PM to 2:45 PM Afternoon Break
2:45 PM to 3:45 PM Idaho Board of Professional Engineers & Professional Land Surveyors A discussion of the recent changes to the Idaho Code that allow the Board to set continuing education requirements of professional engineers and how the Board will assign any requirements. This will be an opportunity for the professional engineering community to ask questions of the attending board members as well as an opportunity for the board members to gather input from the professional community.
3:45 PM to 4:00 PM Afternoon Break

6:30 PM to 8:30 PM Banquet Dinner Brief Remarks by NSPE, ISPE Officer Awards – · Young Engineer of the Year · Idaho Engineering Hall of Fame · Idaho Excellence in Engineering · Idaho Excellence in Engineering Educator New Officer Induction Entertainment Winners of the 2008 Idaho Future City Competition will give a brief presentation of their city and project.
